As an orphan, Siwan has been incredibly resilient, even swallowing Papa Ryu's insufferable coldness while he carves a place in the Ryu family, but when it comes to his mother, we're reminded that he's still a boy. He's as vulnerable as the people around him, if not more, for surviving a tragedy at his age. the good news is, when strength shakes within grief, Jin Haeng will there be for him.

And since that is the sitcom, there's always the funny to compensate for any poignant scenes, and inside Papa Ryu's case nowadays, it's plain comedic karma.;).
